JCSD Families, Today, the Lewistown Sentinel reported that the JCSD school board was considering a reversal of the masking decision made at last month’s meeting. This is not the case. The discussion was centered on the technicalities of how the motion was brought to the floor. Currently, the district’s solicitor is investigating the situation, and if needed, the district will add an affirmation vote to the agenda for the meeting on Thursday, October 21, 2021. This vote would be to reaffirm the decision of the school board concerning the masking requirements for our students. There was no discussion of reversal at the workshop session. We are sorry for any confusion this has caused. JCSD Administration
