Juniata High School

Two students from the Juniata band earned the opportunity to participate in district orchestra which was held January 22-24, 2026. Musicians from all over our area have the chance to work with a guest conductor and compete to try and advance to Regions, States, etc. The Juniata students that participated this year were Madison Copeland on violin and Selena Mayall-Marker on French horn, accompanied by our school’s band director Mr. Eargle. Selena will be advancing to Regionals after receiving the second highest score out of all participating horns. These two students put in a lot of hard work for the chance to enter this event, and it clearly showed at the concert during the end of the week.
