JHS Prom Walk - starts at 6:30pm on Saturday, 4/27. (Optional for all)
Students driving themselves should enter the school complex by the Catholic church and will be directed to park behind the high school by the band room. Students being driven and dropped off should also use the entrance by the Catholic Church, and those vehicles will drop the students behind the high school by the band room and exit through the overflow lot onto Vincent Street.
There will be no thru traffic up the high school hill nor driving around the school. Students will park behind the high school by the band room and 'walk' around to the side of the school facing the football field by door 7.
Students will line up, write their names in the order they are standing, and will continue to each of the three photo sets to have the opportunity to have pictures taken by local photographers. Students’ names will be announced at photo set 2. After students have completed each of the three photo sets, the can then proceed into the school through door 3 by the bus area.
Please note the prom walk will be going in the opposite direction than it did last year. Please see map below. If parents/ spectators plan to attend prom walk, parking will be at the junior high. Parents will be on site to direct traffic. Handicapped parking will be in the overflow lot.
*If the prom walk needs to be canceled due to weather, we will make that decision by 1:00 P.M. on Saturday and post it on our JHS After Prom 2024 Facebook page.
Prom Starts at 7:00 P.M.
No parents or spectators are permitted to enter the school building.
After Prom will be held at JES-Juniata Elementary School at 11:00P.M. Doors will open at 10:00P.M. All students must have signed paperwork already turned in to attend the After Prom, and they must be checked in by 11:00 P.M. No bags or outside food and drink will be permitted. (Please enter through the front doors of the school.)
