East Juniata High School

Hello! My name is Marcus Brothers. I am the Life Skills teacher here at EJHS. My goal as an educator is to guide students to become the most productive members of society that they can be. I choose this profession because it gives me the greatest opportunity to positively impact someone's life.

I began my teaching career in 2010 after completing my bachelor's degree in Education- Special Education K-12/ Elementary Education K-6 at Bloomsburg University. I have been teaching here at EJHS since 2013. I also have a Master of Education from Wilson College and a Master of Education in Athletic Coaching and Administration from Point Park University.

I am married to my beautiful wife, who also works in this school district. We have two wonderful children. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and living in beautiful Juniata County. Outside of teaching, I coach football for Juniata Indians Jr. High program and assist with the JV and Varsity teams as well. Coaching allows me to see the benefits of extra curricular and sports activities that increase a students journey through high school, plus developing valuable skills for later in life.
