Parents of students who will be enrolling in the Juniata County School District in the fall -- either as a first-time student or students who attended elsewhere (private school, charter school or home-school) during the 2020-2021 school year -- are encouraged to begin the enrollment process now. Kindergarten registration is open to any child who will be five years of age on or before September 1, 2021.

Proof of residency must accompany all returned enrollment forms. Acceptable documents include a property tax form, deed, lease, or letter on apartment complex or mobile home park letterhead, signed by the landlord; or two of the following: utility bills, bank statement, unemployment/employment check; vehicle registration, driver’s license or Department of Transportation identification card.

Documents required for first-time enrollees include proof of age (birth certificate, passport, baptismal certificate or prior school records) and proof of immunization status (physician’s statement/record of immunization or letter/statement of exemption).

Parents are encouraged to review the immunization status of their child and contact their family doctor or clinic if all required immunizations have not been completed.
